By the end of 2022, all POS-terminals in Ukraine will accept PROSTIR payment cards. 

This became possible after UKRSIBBANK JSC joined PROSTIR NPS, and the entire POS network of the bank was adjusted to service cards of the national payment system. The POS network of UKRSIBBANK JSC is upgraded step-by-step and will be finalized by the end of 2022. Most POS-terminals will be adjusted in the following two months.

Also, PROSTIR cards can be used to withdraw cash in the entire ATM network of UKRSIBBANK JSС accounting for over 600 ATMs all over Ukraine. 

“We are grateful to UKRSIBBANK JSС for this decision to connect their network to the national payment system. Now everyone can make noncash payments with cards of any payment system anywhere in Ukraine. This is especially important considering martial law,” noted Andrii Poddieriohin, Director of the Payment Systems and Innovative Development Department. 

According to Andrii Poddieriohin, ensuring acceptance of PROSTIR cards in the entire payment infrastructure of Ukraine is one of the goals of the Strategy of Ukrainian Financial Sector Development until 2025.
