We take care to provide security to PROSTIR card holders when paying online.
EMV 3-D Secure is a technology advancing security of online payments both on websites and mobile apps. This technology assists the bank in verifying that the payment was initiated by none other than the cardholder. 
In 2022, the PROSTIR e-Secure technology that is based on EMV 3-D Secure 2.2.0 protocol was introduced for PROSTIR.  PrivatBank became the first bank to successfully implement PROSTIR e-Secure for its merchants and PROSTIR cards.
